Start with the current installation guide
For a wall installation, the current OnlyCat wall guide recommends a Compact Mounting Adaptor and tunnel extenders to suit the wall thickness. For a larger existing opening, confirm the appropriate adaptor using the measured opening, material, thickness and clearance before ordering or cutting. The current website guide takes precedence over older size examples below.

OnlyCat is designed to be a mains-powered device for reliable, continuous operation.
It can run from a large battery pack, but keep in mind:
A ~20,000 mAh battery typically lasts 24-36 hours.
Batteries would likely need replacing or recharging every couple of days.
Most of our customers find that, after the one-off effort of running a power cable, it’s easier and more convenient than constantly swapping batteries.

Use the current installation template
For the opening to cut, follow the maintained door installation guide or wall installation guide. Trace the inner opening of the supplied frame, or use the printable template linked from the guide, printed on A4 at 100% scale. For glass, use the separate glass installation guide and confirm the mouFew readersCan I share my device with friends or family?
Yes! You can easily share access to your OnlyCat device with others, so friends or family members can also use the app.
Here’s how:
Open the OnlyCat app.
Go to the Devices tab.
Select your device.
Tap the person icon in the top-right corner.
Follow the prompts to share access.
That’s it! The invited person will then be able to access and manage the device from their own app.

Preparation - Make sure the device is switched off and not connected to power.
Step 1 - Using the provided suction cup, pull the screen firmly, but carefully upwards.
Step 2 - Open the FCC connector on the currently connected display - this can be gently pulled up, pulling upwards towards the nearest edge of the board.
