Display Replacement Instructions

Preparation - Make sure the device is switched off and not connected to power.

Step 1 - Using the provided suction cup, pull the screen firmly, but carefully upwards.

Step 2 - Open the FCC connector on the currently connected display - this can be gently pulled up, pulling upwards towards the nearest edge of the board.

Step 3 - Remove the ribbon cable from the FCC connector. You can then safely remove the faulty display.

Step 4 - Insert the ribbon cable into the FCC connector on the new board - This should sit firmly in place, and be aligned, not inserted at an angle.

Step 5 - Close the FCC connector - gently push the black connector down onto the ribbon cable so it grips.

Step 6 - Power up the device via the USB, and check the screen to make sure the display isn't damaged (We should see the OnlyCat logo on powering up).

Step 7 - Once confirmed that the screen is working - Place the screen assembly into the housing, ensuring the ribbon cable goes underneath the plastic bridge.

Step 8 - Place the glass screen over the top, applying firm pressure around the edge of the screen to ensure the adhesive takes.
