It can run from a large battery pack, but keep in mind:
A ~20,000 mAh battery typically lasts 24-36 hours.
Batteries would likely need replacing or recharging every couple of days.
Most of our customers find that, after the one-off effort of running a power cable, it’s easier and more convenient than constantly swapping batteries.

OnlyCat is designed to be a drop-in upgrade for most existing cat flaps (including the SureFlap Cat Flap). It requires a minimum opening size of 165 mm x 172 mm, or a 212mm (or larger) round hole.
For larger existing cutouts, such as those with a SureFlap Pet Door, we offer three large mounting accessories (Large Round, Large Square, and Large Squircle) to convert to OnlyCat.

If you don't currently have a cat flap or an existing cut out; or, if you're upgrading from another device with cutouts less than 200 mm width and 200 mm height;
and your door is less than 55 mm thick (typically the case in the UK and most of Europe).

Open the OnlyCat app.

That’s it! The invited person will then be able to access and manage the device from their own app.
