Please read the following information in full before commencing any cutting:

We strongly recommend waiting until your OnlyCat device arrives before cutting, as the supplied fixing frame can be used as a precise, full-accuracy template. The physical template includes subtle curvature that is difficult to replicate accurately without the device itself.

If you would prefer to complete the cut-out in advance, you may follow the instructions below. Please note that these instructions have been simplified and do not include the exact curvature of the fixing frame. To account for this, the dimensions have been slightly increased so the device will still fit correctly.

When marking out your template, it is essential that it is perfectly level and not tilted in any direction. We recommend using a spirit level to ensure accuracy.

Many customers find it helpful to drill pilot holes in each corner of the cut-out to allow the jigsaw blade to pass through comfortably. Please ensure that all pilot holes are drilled outside of the marked template line.

During installation, if the flap does not fit on the first attempt, gently file the edges of the cut-out until the device slides in smoothly. Do not force the flap into place.
