What microchips does OnlyCat support?

OnlyCat currently supports:

• FDX-B microchips - the industry standard used widely around the world.
• EM4100 collar tags (- such as these).

FDX-A support

OnlyCat now supports FDX-A microchips.
If your cat’s chip is missed or recognised late, please send relevant event links and your device ID so our support team can investigate.

A chip is missed, read late or assigned to the wrong cat

A supported chip type does not by itself explain an individual recognition problem. Contact Support with your device ID, links to relevant events, which cat you expected to be recognised and what was actually shown. Include whether the cat was entering or leaving, and any steps already attempted. Our team will review the examples; do not assume the symptoms prove chip migration, interference or a particular hardware fault.

Open the event in the app → Share Event Link → paste the link(s) here in your existing support conversation so all correspondence stays together. Event screenshots do not replace event links. If you cannot access a relevant event or find the device ID, tell Support; we can record that limitation without asking you to recreate the behaviour.

Unexpected physical entry, exit or locking needs an operator review too. See Cat Entry or Exit Not Working as Expected. You do not need to repeat a generic reset sequence before that review.
