# What is the warranty period?

We want you to love your OnlyCat! That’s why we back it with a 2-year warranty on a return-to-factory basis. Here’s what that means for you:

1. **Coverage:** If your OnlyCat has a manufacturing defect or stops working properly under normal use within 2 years of purchase, we’ll repair it or replace it.
2. **Easy Claims:** Simply reach out to our friendly support team and we’ll guide you through the process.
3. **What’s Not Covered:** The warranty doesn’t cover damage from unauthorised opening of the device, accidents, misuse, or normal wear and tear.
4. **Your Peace of Mind:** We handle the hard stuff - you just enjoy your OnlyCat.

Thank you for choosing us - we’re here to make sure your experience is as seamless and enjoyable as possible!
## Requesting a return
We have waived the restocking fee. To request a return, contact Support with your order number. You do not have to give a reason for a return; you may share one if you would like help with a particular issue. An operator will review your order and confirm whether the return is eligible and what happens next. Older-order cases need individual review. Please wait for confirmation and return instructions before sending your device back; a request does not itself authorise a return or refund.
## If a fault returns after a repair
We are sorry if a problem has come back after a repair. Please contact Support with your device ID, previous repair details, a description of the recurring problem and links to relevant events. To share an event, open it in the app, click **Share Event Link**, and paste the link here in your existing support conversation. For a physical fault that is not shown in an event, relevant photos or video may help; these do not replace available event links. An operator will review the evidence and next steps; you do not need to repeat a generic diagnostic sequence first.

## Current returns and warranty policy

See the [current OnlyCat returns and warranty policy](https://www.onlycat.com/returns-policy/) for trial conditions, return-shipping costs and warranty details. Contact Support before sending a device back; we will confirm the applicable instructions and return address.
