# Managing phone notifications and the device alarm

## Cat names in transit notifications
OnlyCat now supports transit notifications that include the cat’s name, for example **“Jinx’s house — Jinx came in”**. Guidance describing this as a future-only feature is out of date.

## Phone push notifications
In the OnlyCat app, go to **Account → Push notifications** to manage phone notifications.
## The alarm on your OnlyCat device
The device alarm is managed separately in your **door policy rule settings**. Changing phone push notifications does not change the device alarm.

Tell Support whether you mean a notification on your phone or a sound from the flap, which setting you changed, and what happened. This helps us give you the right guidance without repeating unrelated steps.
